turn off any heavy compression or limiting on your mix buss
if possible, deliver mixes with at least 6 db of headroom, i can essentially work with whatever you send as long as it’s not clipping, but ideally the more headroom, the better.
bit rates & sampling
export your files at the same sample and bit rate as your original mix session and recordings
Use 24-Bit Depth. downsampling for cd releases can easily be applied in the mastering stage
